Having well over a week to work on them, I supppose you're wondering what's up with my cabinets. Well ::heavy sigh:: things are never quite on the schedule I'd like for them to be on. I'm pretty much done cutting the plywood for my first cabinet. As you can see, the garage is a bit of a mess:

I'm awaiting another tool (surface planer) from Amazon before I can continue, so I'm in a bit of a holding pattern. I suppose I could clean up.

The other project currently underway is the shower. H is discovering the many levels of fun to be had in mounting and grouting 3/4" glass tile. It's a "tile so nice, you grout it twice" -- which undeniably sucks.

Because the joints are only 1/16" wide, we have to use unsanded grout. But unsanded grout shrinks when curing, hence the little holes. The second grouting should fill them up. Suffice to say, this is taking much longer than expected. But that is a bonus of living in the house you're working on -- we've no hard deadline for completion.
