Floor gone

I'll spare you the tales of the Great Broadband Outage of '05. Suffice to say that I'm now back up.

I would advise against a black & white floor -- what doesn't show up on one, will indeed show up on the other. So it is with little hesitation that I ripped up the flooring in the kitchen. I replaced the sub-floor under the cabinet (water damage, looked like). But otherwise it was in good shape, so I didn't have to replace all of it.

Installing a new floor will have to wait until later, there's that cabinet to put in.
