I'm not too interested in the self-portrait genre. I'm already pretty wrapped-up in myself -- no need to go broadcasting the fact. But my new cameraphone has this macro setting, so I had to see how close it could get. It actually got closer, but I think this gets the point across without frightening the children too badly.
