Camp Chanco

Zoe (the daughter) is spending a couple of weeks at summer camp. The same summer camp, Camp Chanco, that I worked at for a few years in the 80s. Which got me to thinking about the photos I have of camp. So I scanned a couple of years I worked there-- 83 & 87.

Now summer camp is a lot like, uh, other people's relatives. I consider my own relatives worthy of interest and concern, and would happily look my family photos. I'm sure my friend Chris has an uncle. But Chris' uncle doesn't mean that much to me. And stories and photos of Chris' uncle would interest me very little.

So it is with the following photo albums.

If you weren't there, these photos might not hold much interest for you. But if you were, by golly, what a treasure-trove of goodness and memories. You have been sufficiently caveated, peruse at your own speed.
