In Jackson, there's a dozen or so of this kind of motel: two story, U-shaped, office in the middle. And having stayed in only one, I can't really do much compare/contrast. But Anglers Inn was fine. Clean, friendly management, not too pricey, and on the internet. Easy walking to the downtown area. Next time I would stay on the upper floor -- creaky floors and early-rising fishermen brought 4 am to my attention.
