Red House Lodge was easily the best place we stayed during our Annapurna Circuit Trek. Here are the four reasons to go:

Nice room with western toilet, a wonderful view of the upper Kaligandaki valley, and a bit of decoration
Excellent food
300 year old Buddhist chapel with a huge Buddha statue in it
Pema Dhoka, the warm and friendly woman who runs it

If you're planning on going directly from Muktinath to Jomsom, reconsider. Red House Lodge is reason enough to stop in Kagbeni for the night - and the rest of Kagbeni (great it it's own right) will just be bonus.

Teahouse prices include lodging and dinner for two.
