Pretty solid itinerary from our Guatemala travels. Yes, Tikal really should be two nights. The only thing I would do differently is at the end in Santiago Atitlán. I'm not a guy to relax, and the town is rather small and the market not nearly as diverting as the one in Chichi. So on day 16 we should have taken a boat to one of the towns on the western shore of the lake and hiked a bit. Otherwise all good.
